The Man

Before stepping into the world of music full-time, Asi studied electronic engineering, giving him a deep technical understanding of sound and audio-visual production. The Start

Asaf Vidal Vanunu, AKA DJ Asix, better known as Asi Vidal. Asi discovered a passion for electronic music and DJ’ing at a young age while living in Israel. He started by collecting dance music in the early ’90s. inspired by the sound of “The Prodigy” and “KLF” he was recording music from the radio on cassettes and DJing at friend’s birthday parties. Asi fell in love with Dj’ing and making people dance, Developing his skills over the years he started DJing in the beautiful cities of Eilat and Tel Aviv in Israel, at beach parties and clubs. 

Asi made his way to the United States and settled at the sunshine state – in Los Angeles California, with a unique sound and a vision. In 2010 Asi Vidal founded Rhino Star Records, which started as a way to release original music with a mission to help other DJs and Producers with sample packs and production tools. The keywords that describe Asi Vidal productions and DJ sets are drive and flow.

Rhino Star Music – A Platform for Creativity

Asi Vidal founded Rhino Star Music as a record label to release his original productions, but it quickly evolved into something much bigger—a platform dedicated to empowering music producers. Understanding the struggles of starting out, Asi wanted to create “everything I wish I had when I began.”

Rhino Star Music now offers free sound sample packs, high-quality production tools, and resources designed to help up-and-coming producers develop their sound without barriers. By blending his passion for music production with a commitment to community growth, Asi has turned Rhino Star Music into more than just a label—it’s a movement that supports and inspires the next generation of artists.

The Moments

Asi Vidal creates moments. And that’s why when you look out over his crowds you see smiles and hands shaped into heart signs. Asi released 3 albums and countless singles on his label Rhino Star. he says. “I want to keep develop my sound and release different styles under different names. like “Psytro Killer” for Psy Dance music, and “HayZar” for more experimental dance music, “I try to give people a night to remember and party with them to share the excitement and party vibes”.

The Producer

As a DJ and producer, Asi Vidal is known for his electrifying original music, mashups, and remixes that ignite dance floors. The Music

In November 2024, Asi released his latest experimental AI album, “Psytrology”, a fusion of Psychedelic Trance and Electro House that pushes the boundaries of AI and dance music. Looking ahead, he is set to appear in a reality TV show in 2025 and release exciting new collaborations with various artists.

The Feels

When I’m making music in the studio I’m looking for the feel in my stomach, the rhythm, the groove”. Asi Vidal has DJ’ed at premier venues all over the U.S., His sets are dynamic and filled with creativity and diversity. his production work, and remixes have received support from big names in the industry.

Electro Club

Asi use to host hosts a podcast called “Electro Club”, his podcast has grown out to thousands of listeners tune into his 1-hour selection of Electronic Dance Music, every month. For 8 years in a row and more than 200 episodes already, from 2012 until 2020, the Electro Club show has been a highlight to many dance music lovers.

The Future

Asi Vidal continues to have an ever-growing passion for dance music and events, produces new music and remixes monthly.

In spite of his accomplishments, Asi Vidal does not see his work as being done. “Creating Music, helping producers, and making people dance is my life”
